Palpung Vajra Buddhist Centre was formed in Singapore by a group of passionate students of 12th Kenting Tai Situpa Rinpoche. In hope to share and spread the teachings of Buddhism. The Palpung Vajra Buddhist Centre is formed under the guidance of Palpung, with the help of Tenam Lama.

The Palpung monastry is the origin of Karma Kagyu in Eastern Tibet. It is formed by the 8th Kenting Tai Situpa Chokyi Jugne in 1727. The name "Palpung" means glorious union of study and practice, where "Pal" stands for glorious and "Pung" stands for to gather.
